Collecting for Profit
Collecting fairies and dragons for profit can be very rewarding. Famous artists have released limited editions of their works in prints, figurines, jewelry and other items. If you love beautiful things, then this may be a profitable hobby for you. Since 2002, Faerie Glen collections have been released in themed series. The manufacturer and distributor is Munro Gifts. Each series is a collection of fairies or "Friends" of fairies, such as unicorns or Pegasus. The collection is distributed for a limited period of time, then either sold out or retired. This is just one example of a family of collectibles available from Out of the Appalachian Woods. When you collect fantasy art, you should remember a few things to make sure you maintain the value of your collectibles. First, keep your original packaging, the box, the fitted styrofoam packing, any tags or labels, advertisements or catalogs. This establishes the originality of the piece, the price paid and the date of ownership. Make sure to store your items and other materials in a safe location, away from direct sunlight ~fading :(, and in a dry environment. Fairies and dragons are colorful, often have great meaning or stories attached to them, and are a wonderful way to have a valuable collectible hobby.
